Silvia Asandi
General Manager
Silvia Asandi is a pediatrician specialised in social services management. She has national and international experience as consultant and trainer and she is an accredited trainer on HIV/AIDS prevention. She has an experience of over 15 years in the management of social-medical programs of assistance for PLWHA. She coordinated the setting up of the Sunflower-Smile Day Clinics Network for the medical and social assistance of children and families affected by HIV/AIDS as well as coordinated the publishing of numerous manuals, courses and guidelines for the medical staff working in AIDS field. Since 1998 she has been the general manager of Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation. In 2006 she has obtained the certificate in quality management systems. During 2003 - 2006 she managed the implementation of the public health programs developed by RAA with Global Fund support under the Round 2, in partnership with the Romanian public health institutions. Silvia graduated the "Monitoring and Evaluation of National AIDS Programs" course organised by WHO, University of San Francisco and Public Health School in Zagreb.
