Nicoleta Manescu
Program Officer HIV/AIDS
Nicoleta Manescu is a sociologist, with a wide experience in coordinating programs of psycho-social assistance for young people with special needs and for vulnerable groups. She succesfully graduated a Master in Social and Health Services Management and for five years, she has been working in the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation in the monitoring and implementation of programs of social assistance for persons who live with HIV/AIDS. She coordinated the elaboration of guidelins, working instruments and training curricula for social assistants and psychologists from the Day Clinics network "Sunflower - Smile" and has various scientific contributions and international participations at conferences and seminars dedicated to improving the services for children and adults living with HIV/AIDS. Nicoleta has graduaded the "Monitoring and Evaluation of National AIDS Programs" course organised by WHO, University of San Francisco and Public Health School in Zagreb.
