Procurement of condoms

On 24.11.2008 it was finalized the procurement procedure for 1,297,297 condoms which will be used in the HIV transmission prevention programmes implemented by ARAS, ALIAT and DGASPC Hunedoara.
Romanian Angel Appeal organized the delivery of the condoms as it follows:
- ARAS 1,047,297 pieces
- ALIAT 240,000 pieces
- DGASPC Hunedoara 10,000 pieces
These were procured with financing from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, AIDS Component and will be used for the counselling projects within the vulnerable groups (IDUs, sex workers, Rroma people).
