The Conference "Advocacy for implication"

The Conference "Advocacy for Implication" was organized at the initiative of Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation and under the Patronage of Mrs Roberta Anastase, Chair of the Chamber of Deputees.It's main objective was to sensitize and inform Romanian parliamentars and decision makers about the efforts of preventing and controlling HIV/AIDS and TB.

The Conference has been opened by a presidium with Mrs Rodica Nassar, Mrs. Silvia Asandi, Mr. Aurel Nechita and Mr. Paul Stoicescu.
The presence of Mrs Rodica Nassar, Chair of the Health Comission from Chamber of Deputees and of Mr. Prof. Aurel Nechita, State Secretary at the Ministry of Health can represent a good start for a private-public partnership in the benefit of vulnerable groups' health.
The Conference documents included, together with all the presentations and official messages, the brochure for parliamentars and also the international agrrements signed by Romania in the HIV/AIDS and TB field.
The presentation held by Mrs Victoria Mihaiescu, MD, from Romanian Red Cross Society, approached aspects linked to the distribution of incentives for TB patients.
