Competition on themes related to tuberculosis organised for journalists by the Center for Health Policies and Services
On June 8 2010, UN House was host for the award ceremony for Best Journalist, event organised by the Center for Health Policies and Services together with WHO Romania.
The competition took place within the larger concept of "Inovation in the field of fight against tuberculosis" - 2010 and aimed at increasing the media involvment in approaching themes of major interest related to interventions for TB prevention and control, both in the general population and among vulnerable groups.
Both the competition and the award ceremony were organised within the project "Media involvment in behaviour change campaigns", project financed by the Global Fund, Round 6 through Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation (RAA)
Guest of honor Mr. François Farah, UN Designated Official, UNFPA Representative Romania, Country Director for FYR Macedonia, Moldova and Serbia, handed the awards for the winning journalists for the two sections of the competition.
The event was also attended by the team that coordinated the project from CHPS, representatives of WHO Romania, journalists etc.
