GAY FEST 2008!

Every, year, ACCEPT Association, the organizer of the GayFest, the festival that celebrates the diversity and tolerance.
Dedicated to the LGBT community (lesbians, gay, bisexuals and transgender) and also to their supporters and sympathizers, the festival consists in a series of various events: photography expositions, movies projections, round tables and debates, parades, etc.
All these activities, carried out during a week (19-25 May), promote the equal opportunities and also the fight against the homophobia phenomena.
The organizers estimate that this festival will engage quite a big public due to its dynamic, exciting and various nature.
Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation is one of the partner organizations of ACCEPT, promoting in accordance with its mission the equal access of the LGBT persons to HIV/AIDS and other STIs prevention activities and programs.
Moreover, the activities undertaken by ACCEPT with the funds from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria aims to promote and facilitate the non-discriminatory access to quality medical assistance and also to psycho-social support services for LGBT people.
Within these activities will be organized debates, round tables and informative materials that promote a healthy and responsible behaviour toward the HIV/AIDS prevention.
