The second issue of Integration's newsletter was released
2007 was a productive year for Integration Association.
Although quite a young organization, focused on providing assistance for intravenous drug users, Integration proved once again that what matters the most is the seriousness and abnegation.
They do a pioneer work as in Romania there hadn't been any organization whose members former intravenous drug users (IDU). Perhaps that's the reason for which the association constantly carries out programs for defending the rights of drug users, including the access information, prevention programs, medical and social assistance.
An outstanding success for Integration was the accreditation as social services providers by the Ministry of Labour, Family and Equal Opportunities.
The second issue of Integration's newsletter pleads in this respect. It is very well structured on sections, provides useful information on activities and programs where the drug users can attend, the social services the association provides them, training opportunities and future perspectives.
As the first issue of the newsletter focused more on the association, its mission, proving information on the members and partnerships, the second issue focuses more on activities with and for the IDU.
Moreover it was opened a section dedicated to them, called Diary to Consume, where in every issue an intravenous drug user can tell own story.
The list of the second issue receivers is very big: among the 53 people who had received the newsletter are not only the representatives of the nongovernmental organizations or UN, but also the National Anti-Drug Agency (ANA), Directorates of Social Assistance and Child Protection, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Education and Research, National Administration of Penitentiaries, etc.
All of them were or are related to harm reduction activities carried out by nongovernmental organizations in Bucharest.

The new website will contain useful information, including legislation, a forum and information resources.Once the Integration's new website will be launched, we will inform you in the NEWS section of our website.Until then, we invite you to be among the beneficiaries of the newsletter!
