Contest on HIV/AIDS Subject Organized by Save the Children in Cenad, Timis

What HIV/AIDS really means? How can we avoid HIV infection? What do our children know about the disease of the century? What might represent to them having a class mate or a friend HIV positive? How should we react at this?
By its activities, Save the Children proposes to take a contribution at scholar children's' informing, especially for those with a low access at information: children living in rural areas or small towns, isolated communities, etc.
With the participation and the support of teachers from Local School, children from Cenad, Timis County, took part at a contest between seventh classes, with teams formed by 3 children each.
The subject of this contest, ingeniously organized and enthusiastically supported by the children from each class, was the HIV/AIDS infection.
The questions, elaborated by the teachers together with the Save the Children team, approached general subjects about HIV transmission and also about the attitude towards a PLWHA.
The prizes were accordingly to the effort ant the enthusiastic support of the teams: t shirts, ball pens, all of them wearing campaign's signs.
